DNS resolver latency measurements: OPNsense Unbound
Getting OPNsense to perform well on a low-powered CPU, e.g. the APU4d4 board, can be tricky. One particular problem has been DNS resolution latency with unbound. I measured Unbound in various configuration variants with dnsperf and am presenting my results here.
